Problem:

This solution provides the procedure for creating a content filter rule that blocks emails with blank subject headers.

Solution:

Do the following:

1.

Open the SMEX management console and go to Content Filtering.

2.

Click Add > Filter messages that match any condition defined > Next.

3.

Type a rule name and select the Subject check box.

4.

Click Next and select Any specified keywords from the Match field.

5.

Type .REG. ^[\s]*$ in Enter keyword(s) and click Add.

Do not select the Match case-sensitive and Match synonym check boxes.
